Elephant ran amok in Temple Festival damaging 3 cars

A captive elephant suddenly ran amok on Wednesday night during the Padmanabhaswamy temple festival procession, and damaged three cars, injuring three persons. The incident took place at around 9:30 pm here.
Local Police and Elephant Squad came to slow down the elephant by giving him two tranquilizers but it continued to remain out of control.
