5,615 People Returned From Saudi Arab Till Now

Following the strict implementation of labour laws in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, 5,615 Malayalees have returned to Kerala, a report by the legislature committee on the welfare of expatriate Keralites stated on Monday.
Over 5,000 people have registered with the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia seeking to grant outpass.The committee had convened a meeting on June 6 at Malappuram Collectorate to discuss the rehabilitation of the returnees in Malappuram, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod districts.
One of the major directives was to arrange air travel facility, free of cost if possible or at very low cost, for all those who have registered for the outpass.
