Central University Exams Postponed News Shocked Students

Central University of Kerala exam of Multi Tasking Assistants (MTA) recruitment test which was to be held in Kasargod was postponed which shocked students and canditates who have came for exam.

Some 100 candidates who reached Chinmaya Vidyalaya here, the venue, at 10 a.m., were told that the test had been deferred as per a directive of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development. A communication from the Ministry, dated December 23, stated that the recruitment test to fill up various posts, were being deferred as the tenure of the Vice-Chancellors of the 12 new Central universities in the country were expiring in March, sources said.

University sources said the deferment had been notified through the print and electronic media. The same had been posted on the CUK website as well, official sources said. Many candidates criticised the Ministry’s decision to defer the test at short notice.
