The Government’s policy to ensure quality education especially in the higher education sector will be announced shortly, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said. The Chief Minister was inaugurating the decennial celebrations of Toc H Institute of Science and Technology (TIST) at Arakunnam near here.
Speaking on the occasion, Anoop Jacob, Food and Civil Supplies Minister, said Kerala is now well placed to make impressive strides in areas such as electronics and computers where it failed to take the initial advantage. Kerala, he said, had decided to fully computerise its civil supplies sector in order to effectively prevent diversion of commodities into the black market.
