Kerala Model For All Developing Nation For Literacy rate Improvements

Lise Grande, United Nations Development Programme Resident Representative in India, has said that Kerala’s achievement in spreading literacy is a model for all developing nations.
Delivering the keynote address at a function held here on Wednesday to mark the beginning of the ‘Reading Week’ organized by the P.N. Panicker Foundation, Ms. Grande said Kerala’s literacy rate was one of the best in the developing world and that many countries were looking up to the State’s strategies in promoting literacy with utmost interest.
