Kerala Tourism bags Conde Nast Travel Award

Kerala Tourism has won the Conde Nast Travel award for putting India on the global travel map, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.

The Excellence in Taking Brand India Global Award, introduced by the international travel magazine, recognizes Kerala Tourism’s contribution to the travel industry and efforts in placing India on the world map, a statement said.

Kerala Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar described the award as a “big recognition” of the southern state’s global campaign.”With abundant natural beauty, pleasant weather and warm hospitality and services, Kerala has emerged as a world class tourist destination and represents the country well overseas,” he said.The Conde Nast Travel Award honours the best in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry.
