Kerala Tourist Accommodation Database To Be Prepared

Kochi
All accommodation services in Kerala have been notified by Kerala Tourism in order to make a database that can be used by visitors as well as tourism industry stakeholders.
The survey would cover hotels, home stays, houseboats and heritage buildings under the “Grahasthali” project, ayurveda centres, rest houses, guest houses and other establishments offering accommodation to tourists in Kerala.
“We urge all tourism industry stakeholders to take part in this survey. Accommodation is a basic infrastructure required for tourism. We want to unify all information on this into a single directory that will be a valuable resource for everyone,” Minister for Tourism A.P. Anil Kumar said Wednesday.
The tourism department will be able to collect statistical and management information through the system and communicate with all establishments through email groups.
