Malayalam Farm Portal by KVASU

Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) has launched a Malayalam farm portal, a web channel and a radio channel. The portal (kasavu.in) was launched by Minister for Agriculture, Shri K P Mohanan at Thiruvananthapuram on June 17, 2013.
The farm portal is intended to create awareness on livestock farming and entrepreneurship among farmers, entrepreneurs and non-resident Keralites. The portal will be used for sharing new technologies and methods being developed by the university with farmers, entrepreneurs and students. The portal in Malayalam would help disseminating information on scientific methods in animal husbandry and new methods and ideas relating to animal sciences.
Minister for Dairy, Shri K C Joseph inaugurated the Regional Training and Research Centre and Livestock Policy and Research Centre of the University at the function attended by K Muraleedharan, MLA; M V Sreyamskumar, MLA and B Ashok, Vice-Chancellor of KVASU, among others.
