Museum Under Muziris Heritage Project to be Inaugrated Soon

The first of the 25 museums planned under the Muziris Heritage Project (MHP) in Kerala is expected to be inaugurated in April, a Kerala tourism official said here Thursday.The project is aimed at reinstating the historical and cultural significance of the legendary port of Muziris.
The heritage site stretches across from the municipality of North Paravur in Ernakulam district to that of Kodungalloor in Thrissur district in Kerala. The object of the project is to promote awareness and understanding of the cultural distinctiveness and diversity of Muziris.
