NEET Entrance Exam participants maximum from Maharashtra , Andhra and Kerala

On May 5, about 1.15 lakh candidates from across Maharashtra-the largest pool from a state-will take the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2013. About 7.26 lakh students across the country have registered for the test this year. After Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh will have the most students-88,500-taking the NEET, followed by Kerala from where 71,000 will sit for the test.
In Karnataka, the exam date has been pushed to May 18 as the election commission has announced May 5 as the date for the elections to the Legislative Assembly.At least 24,000 candidates each from Mumbai and Aurangabad will sit for the undergraduate entrance exam for admission to medical and para-medical courses. About 20,000 candidates each from Pune and Nagpur, 10,500 from Nashik and another 6,500 from Kolhapur will also appear for this pan-India exam.
