New Schemes for Kerala Young Scientists

The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment has announced the launch of its Young Scientist Scheme (YSS) — a fellowship programme for nurturing and mentoring young researchers.
The YSS is designed to help fulfill the long-term career goals of young people in science, technology and related domains.
The scheme is open to applicants under the age of 40 years; extended to 45 years for women candidates. Under the scheme, selected young scientists will be provided monthly emoluments of Rs35,000 (for fresh PhD holders), Rs40,000 (for fellows with 3 years research/industrial experience after PhD) and Rs45,000 (for fellows with five years research/industrial experience after PhD).
