Now Lotteries Will have Automated Draw System

Finance Minister K M Mani on Monday launched the mechanised draw system of the State Lotteries Department. The Minister also launched the Thiruvonam bumper lottery at the function held here. The revised prize structure of the state lotteries also came into effect on the day.

The e-payment facility at the district lottery offices also came into effect. The department will also give lottery tickets, wrapped in covers with braille inscriptions, for visually challenged agents. The project in association with Kerala Federation of Blind will benefit lottery agents.Health Minister V S Sivakumar presided over. Lotteries Department director M Nandakumar and Lottery Agents Welfare Fund Board chairman Babu Joseph were present.
