Central University of Kerala:- (CUK) Central University of Kerala invites application for filling up the various teaching Posts.

Application in prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor.

Last date of form Submission: 30th March 2015.
Pay Scale: 37,400 to 67,000.

Selection will be made on the basis of candidates performance at the interview. The University may utilize seminar and/or colloquim as method of selection.

Essential Qualification & Eligibility

Assistent professor

Education Qualification as prescribed by UGC-I

• Good acedmic Record as defined by the concerned university with atleast 55% marks at the master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University
• Beside fullfiling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or Similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Essential Qualification -II

• Master degree in Computer Science/Master degree in Computer Application(MCA) with at least 55% marks/ equivalent grade+ other requirements as specified in the UGC Notification 2010/2013.

Assistent professor

Essential Qualification:-

• Good academic record with a Ph.D Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• A Master degree with atleast 55% marks.
• A minimum of eight years of Experiance of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that assistent professor in a Univesity/collage.
• Contribution to education innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology.
• A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the Appendix III of UGC Regulations 2010 and amendents.

Essential Qualification -II

• Master Degree in Botani/Plant Science and Ph.d in the concerned/allied relevant area.
• Master Degree in Law and Ph.D in the concerned/allied relevant area.
• Master Degree in Law and Ph.D in the concerned/allied relevant area.

Professor

Essential Qualification

• An eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification (s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality activity engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
• Minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/College, and/or experience in research at the University/National Level Insitutions/Industries, including experiene of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
• Contribution to education innovation, design of new curricula and courses. and technology-mediated teaching learning process.
• A Minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the Appendix III of UGC Regulations 2010 and subsequent amendments.

OR

• An outstanding professional with estabilished reputation in the relevant field, who has made signigicant contributions to the Knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevent discipline to be substantiated by credentials.

Pay Band:-

• Professor:- Rs. 37,400-67,000, AGP: 10,000.
• Associate Professor:- Rs. 37,400-67,000, AGP: 9,000.
• Assistent Professor:- Rs. 15,600-39,100, AGP: 6,000.
