Samastha Kerala Sahitya Parishad Awards in Kerala

The famous Samastha Kerala Sahitya Parishad awards were presented in Kerala recently. The award winners are presented to writers Vishnunarayanan Namboothiri, M K Sanu and Sachithanandan on Tuesday.
Writers C Radhakrishan and Professor M Thomas Mathew delivered short, precise talks on the award winning authors and their body of work, and noted critic M Leelavathi, a former awardee herself, presented the awards to the three literary maestros.
While presenting the award, M Leelavathi pointed out the irony that all of the three award winners were criticized for their style at the beginning of their career. M V Benny and P I Ibrahimkutty, office-bearers of the Sahithya Parishad, also spoke at the function.
