Tariff hike By Kerala State Electricity Board
Kerala State Electricity Board has decided to raise the tariff for all the commercial and industrial consumers in the tariff revision proposals for 2014-15 submitted to the State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
For the HT-1(A) Industrial, the proposal is to hike the tariff from Rs 4.60 per unit to `5.50.In the case of HT-1(B) Industrial, the tariff should be hiked from Rs 5 to Rs 5.80, the KSEB has recommended.
For HT IV(A) Commercial, the tariff should be hiked from Rs 6.10 to Rs 6.70 for consumption up to 30,000 units and for usage above that ceiling, the rate should be revised from Rs 7.20 to Rs 7.50 for all units, according to the KSEB.
The KSEB proposes to hike the HT IV(B) Commercial tariff from `6.10 to `6.50 or for consumption up to 30,000 units.
In the EHT category, the KSEB has recommended a hike from ` 4.40 to `5.30 for the EHT Industrial 66 KV category,and from `4.30 to `5.20 for EHT-II 110 KV supply.
