V Muraleedharan Continues as BJP President of Kerala

Ignoring the protests of a section of leaders in the state, BJP national leadership has decided in favour of a second term for party Kerala unit president V Muraleedharan.Following the opposition of a dominant section of leaders, BJP national secretary Muralidhar Rao had held discussions with leaders of the state unit here on February 16. He had met core committee members of the state unit and elicited their opinion to reach a consensus on the choice of a new state president.
BJP sources said a message to this effect was received at the party headquarters here Monday.
