Web Ratna Gold Award won by Kerala Chief Minister Website

The Kerala Chief Minister’s website, keralacm.gov.in, has grabbed the prestigious icon of excellence, Web Ratna Gold Medal Award instituted by Central Government to promote innovative e-Governance initiatives. This is for the first time a Web Ratna award is coming to Kerala. This website was launched on July 01, 2011.
P T Chacko, CM’s Press Secretary and Jogie George Jacob, PA to CM received the award from Union Minister for Communication & IT, Shri Kapil Sibal at a function held today at New Delhi. Ministers of State Shri Milind Deora and Dr. Kruparani Killi were also present. The award aims to honour initiatives taken by the Chief Minister who have leveraged upon the use of ICT to solicit active participation of public in the process of governance.
The round-the-clock live webcast of CM’s chamber and office, 24×7 online grievance redressal cell which offer public to lodge their complaints and to follow up the same, the Secretariat file tracking facility and Vision 2030 idea box are the notable characteristics of Kerala Chief Minister’s website.
Designed and developed by C-Dit, the website is managed by a team consisting of Dinesh Sharma, Principal Secretary to CM, Jyothilal, GAD Secretary, P T Chacko, Jogie George Jacob, S Jayakumar, R Shivaramakrishnan, S Satheesh, P Ashish and Rejith Raj.
