Palakkad unbeaten rally in this tournament was broken by Concord Ventures Palakkad Harvestors emerged as the new champions of the Kerala Premier League, thanks to a spectacular display of tight bowling and elegant batting, when they beat Yogi Group Thrissur Dynamites by six wickets in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
It was a sad end for Thrissur, who had remained unbeaten throughout the tournament only to lose in the final due to their poor batting on the day.Speaking to Gulf News after the victory, Palakkad coach P.G. Sundar said: “Our victory is the result of three months’ hard work. Our players combined well to record a memorable victory.”
