The Kerala government has entrusted the task of digitally empowering women in the state with Kudumbashree, which is already engaged in the economic empowerment of women by eradicating poverty through self-help groups.
Through this collaboration Kudumbashree will not only provide basic computer skills to women but also create a platform for life-long learning and economic development of women, their families and the society at large. The programme introduced by Intel under its social responsibility activities is aimed at improving the social and economic self-sufficiency of adults and youth around the world. As per the memorandum of understanding signed between Intel and Kudumbashree, the task would be completed in three years.
