Janamaithri Suraksha scheme in 100 Police Station

Five police personnel would be posted in each of the 100 police stations added to the Janamaithri Suraksha scheme, said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy while inaugurating a seminar held as part of the extension of the scheme to 100 more police stations in the state.
Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, who presided over the function, said that community policing should be effectively used to bring down the number of crimes.He added that the law and order situation in the state should not be judged based on the number of cases registered but on the action taken on the cases.
