KEAM Entrance Exams Started Lakhs of Candidates Took part

A total of 1,08,920 students appeared for the two-day Kerala engineering entrance examination which began on Monday in over 291 exam centres- 288 in Kerala, two in Delhi and one in Dubai.Majority of the students found the physics and chemistry paper on the first day easier than the All-India JEE (Main) exam 2013 which was held recently.
Jisha Krishnan of Marthoma Higher Secondary School, Pathanamthitta, said that the question paper was “definitely better” than those in the previous years.The mathematics paper will be held on Tuesday. Ernakulam district had the maximum number of engineering aspirants numbering 14,360 followed by Thiruvananthapuram, with 13,360 students.
The entrance exam for medical courses (except MBBS & BDS) will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.
