Kerala Citizen Held with Fake Passport

Shamnaz Zainudheen Mohammed 20 years from Kerala was held after he was found with a fake passport at the immigration check at Dabolim airport on Tuesday. The Vasco police effected his arrest following a complaint lodged by Vinod Kumar, AFRRO of Dabolim airport.
The passport was in the name of Sukarn Malliswar from Andhra Pradesh by replacing his photograph. The forgery was detected at the CID immigration counter at 5.30am, the police said. A case under various sections of the IPC and Section 12 (a) of the Passport Act have been registered against Mohammed.
