Kerala govt. has increased reservation quota for NCC cadets
A good news for NCC Cadets Kerala, the state government has increased the reservation quota seats for Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses falling in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) category.
According to the government, the reservation quota has been increased for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets for MBBS and BDS courses to three to two seats respectively.
Minister for Education, Kerala, P K Abdu Rabb was quoted by ‘CareerIndia’ saying, “The government is also considering increasing the quota for NCC candidates in polytechnic colleges from 30 to 50 and for B.Sc Nursing from one to five.”
Education Minister’s banner for the best NCC group of 2014-15 was handed over to Captain Simon Xavier, Commander of the NCC group in Ernakulam, The NCC group, Kozhikode, was declared the second best group and they received the banner for the achievement.
