Kerala To Go For Eco Friendly Development
Kerala State Government will be now focusing on eco friendly infrastructure development at all tourist destinations in Kerala, said State Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for a new four-storeyed guest house at Munnar, he said the government is only following a policy of environment-friendly infrastructure development. The construction of the guest house will take place in a phased manner and the government will provide all necessary support to complete the project in a time-bound manner.
The State Tourism department has decided to construct the additional guest house with modern facilities in the heart of Munnar in order to offer more quality services to the tourists visiting the famous hill station. The new building will come up near the old guest house, which has only eight rooms.
