KIMS to Have Hospitals in Nagercoil and Kozhikode

KIMS Kerala Institute of Medical Science is willing to acquire hospitals in Kozhikode and Nagercoil. KIMS will spend R100 Cr for the acquisition of a hospital in Kozhikode.
KIMS recently acquired a 75-bed hospital in Kottayam and 125-bed hospital in Kollam. Both these hospitals will be fully functional within 3 to 4 months time. It has plans of spending R400 Cr to R500 Cr in the next two years for setting up and acquiring new hospitals in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Dr M I Sahadulla, Chairman and MD of KIMS stated, company is also planning for an IPO after three years. KIMS is also in the process to set up a chain of wellness centers, with two each coming up in Kollam, Kochi, Kottayam and Kozhikode at a total cost of R50 Cr.
