The functioning of the Advanced Molecular Materials Research Centre, the first such facility in the State, was launched at Mahatma Gandhi University on Thursday.
Inaugurating the centre, Minister for Education P.K. Abdu Rabb pointed out that there was a need for such a facility in order to keep pace with emerging technologies. Scientific research needs to be promoted, he said.
