Nano Twist Launched in Kerala

Tat Motors finally launched its most awaited model of Nano Car the cheapest car in India , The The Nano Twist equipped with a power steering is priced at Rs 2.36 lakh .

The new model is available in XT version, which replaces the previous top line Nano (LX) model. “It would contribute more than 50 per cent of our total Nano sales,” said Ankush Arora, Senior Vice-President and Head Commercial – Passenger Vehicle Business Unit.

The vehicle has an Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) system that helps in easy manoeuvring in tight driving and parking situations.

The car is powered by a 624cc 2 gasoline engine, mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The engine produces 38PS power, 51 Nm torque. The new Nano range would provide a fuel efficiency of 25.4 kmpl (certified by the Automotive Research Association of India).
