Policeman died as a Electric post fall on him

A police officer of Idukki police station died here on monday due to an electric post which fall on him while he was riding the bike.He is identified as George (38), son of Varghese and Mary from Pandippara.
The incident happened at 12.30 pm at Alinchuvattil in Idukki. George was heading towards bank from police station. The electric lines got entangled in a truck coming from opposite direction which made the post fall on George.
George was taken to district hospital and later to a private hospital in Thodupuzha, but he died on the way.
