Shah Rukh Khan had to travel in palanquin for on-going schedule of Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express in the outskirts of Munnar in Kerala . “From the hotel, a car took Shah Rukh up to a certain height. From there, he had to travel in a doli (palanquin) of sorts; it is a contraption that involves two men holding a chair on their shoulders, using long sticks as handles,” reveals the source. SRK had asked the makers if he could ride a motorcycle up the hilly terrain, but they refused, as the road is apparently too risky.
The schedule that started four days ago is expected to last for one month. Since getting to the location is so inconvenient, the makers are planning to set up a camp somewhere around the area. “Since it’s a densely forested spot, the makers are still considering whether camping will be safe,” adds the source.
