Sivagiri Mutt Festival to be Inaugurated by A K Antony

The 81st Sivagiri Pilgrimage festival in Varkala will be inaugurated by Defence Minister of India A K Antony on December 31 as told by Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust . The centenary celebrations of ‘Daiva Dasakam’ will also be inaugurated by him.
On December 31, Minister of State for Food K V Thomas will inaugurate the agriculture-industries conference, which will have Agriculture Minister K P Mohanan, A Sampath MP, former Agriculture Department director M Liju, Kerala Agriculture University Vice-Chancellor P Rajendran and others as speakers.
A ‘Narayana Global Meet’ will be held on the third day on January 1, which will be inaugurated by Mizoram Governor Vakkom Purushothaman. The conference on environment will be inaugurated by CPM politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan while writer M Mukundan will inaugurate the literary conference.
