Infopark is drawing up plans to make thrissur a major IT hub after Kochi, After from taking up infrastructure development projects, a press realease by infopark said.

There will be foucus on attracting major IT companies to the park at Koratty in Thrissur district.“The Infopark at Thrissur has all that it takes to make it a major IT destination in Kerala. The park’s proximity to the Kochi international airport and the national highway connectivity is the key attraction. We will leverage these facilities to brand position the park and attract major anchor clients,” Infopark CEO Hrishikesh Nair said.

While the existing two lakh sq ft workspace at the campus is fully occupied, work on3.3 lakh sq ft IT block with plug and play facilities is in the final stages of construction and it is expected to be ready by May this year.

The new block is designed to serve the needs of both big players in the industry as well as the mid-segment companies looking to scale up their business.  Under the new project, the park will revamp amenities like swimming pool, gym, cafeteria and women’s hostel, among others.
