McDonalds to open first outlet in Kerala on March 10

McDonald’s will open its first outlet in Kerala here on March 10. The outlet would come up at Lulu Hyper market, Edappally. The US-based fast food restaurant chain is in an expansion mode in Kerala and plans to open its second outlet at MG Road, Kochi, soon.
According to a senior company official, it also planned to open restaurants in major cities of Kerala. “Our next targets are Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode,” she said.The first restaurant at Lulu hyper market will have a total area of 3,000 sft and can seat around 70 people. The company would extend home delivery service soon from the Edappally outlet.
