Construction in Govt Schools Project Worth Rs 3.25-crore

In order to provide proper and hygenic toilet facilities in all the government schools in the district , education department has designed a Rs 3.25-crore project as 310 toilets will be constructed in these schools. Funds will be distributed to 58 government schools where toilets facilities were not up to the standard.
The cost for constructing urinals for girls amounts to Rs 1,20,000,while for boys an amount of Rs 1 lakh has been set aside for the purpose.A total of Rs 3.25-crore has been earmarked for the project. M B Murali education deputy director said that govt has asked all the govt school to give a report of the toilet facilities in their school .
