95cr Sanctioned for Edappally flyover

Kerala Government has allocated Rs 95 Crore or the construction of a flyover at Edappally. Rs 45 crore for land acquisition and Rs 50 crore for road development will also be provided by revenue department and Kerala Road Fund Board (KRFB) said PWD minister V K Ibrahim Kunju.
Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) will finance the construction of a portion of the flyover,which includes the superstructure of Kochi Metro,and will give Rs 40 crore for its construction. Entire project for developing Edappally Junction would cost Rs 135 crore.
DMRC have been asked to desgin a complete strucure of the project A memorandum of understanding will be signed in this regard after getting cabinet approval.
