Startup Village To Host top rate global entrepreneurs

Global entrepreneurs and mentors from various countries including entrepreneurs from selected portfolio companies spread across the world, is arriving at Cochin on a ship as part of an ambitious transnational programme designed to scale up technological solutions to modern challenges at the Startup Village, India’s first telecom incubator in Kerala’s commercial capital of Cochin on Wednesday.
The programme, ‘Unreasonable At Sea’, is a radical experiment in global entrepreneurship, design thinking and education. The programme at Startup Village includes a workshop on design thinking and interactive sessions with Freeman Murray, a legendary entrepreneur, angel investor and mentor from the US as also with the incubated startups. The group comprising of teams from 10 countries and 5 continents is cruising more than 25,000 nautical miles and visiting 14 countries including India, Spain, South Africa, China and Japan over the course of 100 days.
The team members include Megan Smith, Vice President Google [x] at Google Inc; Matt Mullenweg, Founder of WordPress; Daniel Epstein, Founder of Unreasonable at Sea; and Cynthia Yeung, Director of International Partnerships, Unreasonable at Sea.
