Eloor Water Supply Scheme Should be continued says High Court

Kerala High Court has asked Kerala Water Authority that why the water was not collected timely and at proper amount in regards of the Eloor Water Supply Scheme.
At present the expenditure for water supply is being equally shared by three companies- Indian Rare Earths Limited, Hindustan Insecticides Limited and Mechem ltd. Water is being distributed by Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) from its own plant. The court also ordered the water authority not to stop the water distribution to 2144 families in Eloor municipality.
A Division Bench comprising Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan and Justice A Muhamed Mustaqe passed the order on a petition filed by A A Poulose of Eloor South seeking a directive not to stop potable water supply under the scheme.
