E-Content For PG Level Says University Grants Commission

University Grants Commission in Kerala have asked Universities in Kerala to help in making e-content for for post graduate programs in 77 subjects . Project Named e-PG Pathshala the Commission is planning to create a high level User Interface study material of different subjects in all disciplines under this initiative.
The material that will be there in the e-Content will be made available to all students and Teachers as well through Learning management System. e-PG Pathshala Project is the part of National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD).
UGC chairman Ved Prakash have asked Universities to identify the various eminent faculties in the Colleges and University those are willing to help and contribute in this project. “The e-content development and associated web-based learning described here do not seek to replace traditional teaching and learning, but are expected to supplement them,” said a UGC official. The projects database will be consisting of lectures, laboratory sessions, tutorials followed by homework, quizzes, term papers and examinations and self-assessment questions .
