Fourth gold for Sajan Prakash, 10th for Kerala
In the ongoing 35th National Games Kerala’s golden boy Sajan Prakash continued his dream run by scooping his fourth gold in the National Games in the 200 metre butterfly stroke. Till the noon Kerala Points telly was 10 Gold, 9 Silver and 13 Bronze, Kerala is on the fourth position now.
Sajan shattered an earlier Games record of Kerala’s J. Suresh Kumar in the process of winning the gold medal.
Sajan came first in a photo finish, clocking 2:00:69 against Supriya Mondal of Bengal (2:00:80) who finished second. Aaron D’Souza (2:03:89) of Madhya Pradesh won the bronze.
After Receiving the Gold in the 200m butterfly Sajan said “This was a better-than-expected show. The timing was better than the Nationals,”
