Kerala High Court Asks for Report on Aranmula Project

Pollution Control Board wa asked by the Kerala High Court to give a report on Aranmula Airport Project explaining whether they had conducted any study on the proposed project.
A Division Bench comprising Justice T R Ramachandran Nair and Justice B Kemal Pasha issued the directive on a suo motu initiated proceedings based on Devaswom ombudsman’s report against the project Pursuant to a directive KGS Aranmula International Airport Ltd produced, the project report and site clearance certificate, before the court.
The court had asked KGS to produce all study reports submitted by them, before various authorities, to implement the airport project as well as clearances, if any, obtained so far. The bench asked the Advocate Commissioner to file an additional affidavit based on the documents produced by KGS. The court posted the case to February 3.
