KJ Dennis Kerala entrepreneur bags Coir Export Award

KJ Dennis , chairman and MD of DC Mills, a medium-scale coir product industry based at Alleppey in Kerala has received the award for the largest exporter of coir products for 2011-12.

Expand the banking coverage near the industrial clusters to realise the potential of small industries, which could affect a socio-economic change in addition to growth of the country, President Pranab Mukherjee said presenting the national awards to micro, small and medium enterprises and banks, on Wednesday.

Dennis said he had been receiving the award for the last 20 years, the first in 1993 from then President SD Sharma.
