NCC Cadets from State in Sports Meet

In all, 108 cadets from Kerala and Lakshadweep will participate in the national-level sports meet of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) opening in New Delhi on Thursday.
The cadets left for New Delhi on Sunday evening. Cadets from all three arms of the NCC – Army, Navy and the Air Wing – are representing Kerala and Lakshadweep NCC Directorate this year.
They will take part in hockey, football, athletics, table tennis, shooting, kabaddi and cross country events.The Kerala and Lakshadweep contingent is being led by Lt Col Paul Raj.
The NCC National Games is being held in New Delhi from Thursday, October 17, to October 28.The cadets were trained at the Lakshmi Bai National College for Physical Education (LNCPE) at Kariavattom.
