Kerala’s tribute to legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar – a pavilion in his name – opened Wednesday here at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kaloor.

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni inaugurated the ‘Sachin Tendulkar Pavilion’, a joint initiative of Kerala Cricket Association and Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA). This is the first ever permanent pavilion which will be open to public at the stadium.

The pavilion includes many exhibits, such as a cricket bat, No.10 jersey signed by Sachin, a collection of memorable photographs of Sachin, Sachin paintings etc.
