Calicut University in Quarter Finals of South Zone Inter-University cricket tournament

University of Calicut became the first team to enter the quarterfinals of the South Zone Inter-University cricket tournament with a nine wicket victory over JNT University, Anantapur, at the MGM College ground here Tuesday.
Vyshak Chandran and Ajit Babu shared a second wicket partnership to ensure the big win.They take on University of Madras, who have been seeded into the quarter-finals.After dismissing JNTU for only 139, University of Calicut got the runs losing one wicket.
