Speaking at the inaugration of a three day ‘exclusive buyer-seller meet’ Chandy said “My government will soon bring self-attestation system (that will replace the need for attestation by a gazetted officer),”

It is being done to benifit the people immensely, He added.

Under the self-certification method, original documents would have to be produced only at the final stage.

he CM vowed to end “road blocking” red-tapism to facilitate entrepreneurship by the state’s young aspirants in the growing small and medium enterprises sector.

Commenting in the presence of entrepreneurs in the state’s SME sectors and several global business players, Chandy said his government will launch an ambitious scheme very soon to facilitate smooth entry of youth belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and fishermen community in the small and medium enterprises sector.
