PC Thomas removed as Kerala Congress party Chief
On Monday a meeting convened by the Kerala congress party leaders led by Scaria Thomas (anti-merger faction) announced the removal of P C Thomas as the chairman of the party.
The party leaders who met on Monday elected Scaria Thomas as the new chairman. V. Surendran Pillai MLA is the new working chairman of the party.
Inaugurating the party meet, Scaria Thomas said that the party was not interested in a yet another split and pledged to go ahead together.
He added that P.C. Thomas will be accepted if he corrected his stand and returned to the party fold.
Scaria claimed that his faction has majority in all the 10 district committees of the party and the feeder outfits.
