Kerala to Introduce Right To Hearing Act

The Kerala Government is planning to introduce Right to Hearing Act, for this an opinion is sought form the Law Department. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said services rendered to the people could effectively implemented only by the cooperation of the staff, according to official sources here.
The ‘Right To Hearing Act’ ensures time-bound hearing and disposal of complaints related to governance. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the district cell of ‘Sutharya Keralam’ at Museum public office here, where Complaints can be registered through email (sutharyamtvmcell@gmail.com). The main objective of the ‘Sutharya Keralam’ is to provide transparent and responsible governance in State administration, aimed at reducing corruption among the government officials and increasing public accountability.
