Chief Minister to Inaugurate Children Science Congress

Two day’s Kerala Children’s Science Congress will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy at Maria Rani Convention Centre, Sreekariyam here on December 3.68 innovative science projects of schoolchildren from across the state, presented at district-level competitions, will be showcased here.

The winners in this edition, themed ‘Energy Exploration and Conservation’, will leave for Varanasi on December 22 to participate in the 20th National Children’s Science Congress from December 27 to 31. To facilitate the representation of all districts at the state-level competition, KSCSTE has decided to reimburse second-class train fare to participating students and accompanying teachers.
