K B Ganesh Kumar re entry in Kerala Cabinet is creating problem in the politics parties of Kerala and Chandy Party. The political move allegedly to divert attention from the fiasco related to the aborted induction of KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala has also met with stiff opposition from the I group. The ‘Broad I’ faction, which is already agitated over the ‘’humiliation’’ of Ramesh Chennithala by denying him a decent berth in the Chandy Cabinet, has warned against the move to re-induct Ganesh Kumar into the Cabinet within two months, citing it as against the decision taken at a UDF meet.
KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala told ‘Express’ that the KPCC would not allow the re-induction of Ganesh Kumar. “For sure, the Chief Minister will not get the approval of the KPCC for re-inducting Ganesh.
“Ganesh Kumar will land up in jail if he tried to become minister again. It is good for all concerned to keep quiet,’’ George warned. Mani maintained on Tuesday that there was nothing wrong in the second coming of Ganesh Kumar as he had not quit the UDF ministry after a corruption charge but on a moral stand. George, who is also the KC(M) vice-chairman, had said that with R Balakrishna Pillai’s decision to accept the chairmanship of Forward Castes Welfare Corporation with Cabinet rank, the ministership claim of the Kerala Congress (B) could not be conceded.
