Kerala CM Discharged From Hospital

Kerala CM Oommen Chandy was hospitalized in Government Medical College Hospital due to discomfort and uneasiness he was feeling recently and is in a stable condition and he can be discharged from hospital after 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Dr. Sankardas, the Chief Minister’s physician for the past three years, told that doctors had conducted an angiogram on Mr. Chandy and no new blocks were found. He would require three to four days of complete rest after being discharged from hospital. Mr. Chandy had undergone an angioplasty in Chennai in 2010. He has been under medication since then.
In the morning, Mr. Chandy was eager to go to Alappuzha to join Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in the Yuva Kerala Yatra. Under persuasion from the doctors, he agreed to undergo a check-up at the medical college hospital.
