Kerala Congress (M) leader K M Mani on Sunday visited NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair at the NSS headquarters in Perunna. Both the leaders said that they had held discussions on the prevailing political issues in the state.
“We do have a practice of holding discussions often with NSS on political affairs. However, we have not discussed the issues pertaining to the NSS-Muslim League conflict,” he said, adding that the Kerala Congress (M) had always maintained a good relationship with the NSS.
He also refused to comment on the controversy related to the phone calls made by some ministers, MLAs and other political leaders to Saritha S Nair, the co-accused in the solar scandal. Meanwhile, Sukumaran Nair said that the NSS’ differences with the UDF do not have any association with Kerala Congress (M)
